Change Team:

This was shared with me by a Pediatric Sports Medicine Physician. I thought I would pass this along on the Mountain Lacrosse front. There is a three part panel series about return of youth sports amidst COVID (free and parent oriented) put on by the American Academy of Pediatrics and partnering with the National Athletic Trainers Association and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine this week (8/11-8/13). It should be phenomenal in terms of the speakers/panelist. Here’s the link:

8th Grade Needs Players tomorrow
by posted 08/08/2020

If anyone wants to play and help out the 8th-grade team tomorrow they could use some players.

Games at 12:30 and 1:30 at Maple Grove Mini

Please e-mail Victoria if you plan on playing at  victoriahutchen@hotmail.com

Also, we are low on numbers for Thursday's doubleheader and the 8th-grade team has a game at the same time.  We really need everyone to show up that is in town.  If you need rides, please reach out.

Thanks and hope you're having a great weekend,

Wow!
by posted 08/06/2020

I just want to tell you all how proud I am of your girls tonight.  Each and EVERYONE of them showed improvement and they are CONNECTING as a TEAM.  I try every night to reflect on my day and find gratitude in something, especially during these crazy times.  Tonight I found gratitude in your daughters.  I am so grateful to have watched each one of them grow and show off their skills tonight. They showed grit, determination, teamwork, and Mudita (joy for one another's accomplishments).  My heart is so full tonight.  Tonight encompassed why I volunteer and why I think sports are so important in development. I want to thank you for your amazing daughters and for allowing me to be apart of their lives.  Seriously, it's a very special group of girls.

We will not have practice next week, just the games.  I will work on a practice time for the following week.  Please have your girls reflect on what they did well tonight and what they can improve on.  Also try to encourage the bounce back this week.

Have a wonderful weekend with your family.

Much Love,

-Coach Momma Goat
