And we are back! Hope everyone had a lovely spring break! Now things get real.
Game time! Our first game is this Saturday at Stagecoach field (same place we practice) at 10:15. Try to have the boys dressed and ready at 9:45. The uniforms are the same as last year and I have any pieces that were ordered to distribute at practice Tuesday. Each player needs a mouthguard or we will be penalized during the game. We need a parent volunteer to work the clock/ scoring table at all home games.
Practice: from now on we will have the same practice schedule each week - Tuesday and Thursday 4:30-6 at Stagecoach field. We don't have any more indoor time so either practice will be cancelled or we will be outside at Stagecoach.

Rules: here are a few of the basic rules for Arapahoe Youth Lacrosse 2nd grade games (same as last year but we are now playing 10 v 10):
- No body checking - that means when the ball is on the ground or a player has possession you cannot lower your shoulder and hit. Pushing a player when they have possion (hands together, cannot be from the back or side) or boxing-out for a ball on the ground is allowed.
- Stick checking is allowed (below the shoulder, two hands on the stick)
- Ball must be passed (doesn't need to be caught) before team with possession can shoot.
