2026 Girls Spring Lacrosse 2-8th Grade

Mountain Lacrosse girls teams will play in the Arapahoe Youth League for the 2026 Spring Season. Teams will travel for some games against other AYL teams. All home games and practices are held at Stagecoach, Marshdale, and EMS fields. Practices will start the week of February 23, weather permitting. Games start mid-March, weather permitting. Games will be played on Saturdays and possibly Sundays, and may include several doubleheaders. Single elimination playoffs will be May 9/10 with the AYL championships May 16/17. Girls uniforms will remain the same as spring 2024 and 2025. If you did not play in a prior spring season, you will need to order a jersey and short set. Players who need a replacement uniform may order shorts and/or jerseys for an additional cost.

Fees Summary:

Mountain Lacrosse League (MLAX) Registration Fees: The basic registration fee for 2026 Girls Lacrosse season is $310 and includes fees to the AYL Association, Evergreen Park & Recreation District (EPRD) field fees, referee fees, field lining and maintenance, indoor practice facility rental, team & league equipment (goals, nets, balls, cones, etc.), scholarship fund contribution and more. 

US Lacrosse (USL) Membership Fees: All players are required to become members of the US Lacrosse and the $40 non-refundable fee is paid directly to USL. This membership provides liability coverage for the league, player insurance, advocacy for the sport of lacrosse, USL magazine, coaches training, learning resources and more. During the MLL registration process, you will be directed to the USL website to renew/purchase membership. This must be completed in its entirety before you can continue registration with MLAX. If you encounter any difficulties renewing your USL membership, please visit their website at www.USLacrosse.org and renew/register directly online. Then, return to the MLAX website and continue the registration process. Be sure to that the player's date of birth and name is accurate in both organizations.

Uniform Fees: For the 2026 Spring Season, the uniform will remain the same as spring 2025. Any player who did not play in a prior spring season must purchase the complete uniform set including a jersey and shorts. The uniform cost for new players is $80. We cannot accommodate number requests. New players will receive a jersey number that is not already worn by another player in their same age group. Returning players may purchase shorts for $40 or a jersey for $40. Please use the sizing table HERE to select sizes. IF IN DOUBT, PLEASE ORDER UP. UNIFORMS CANNOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED. WE CANNOT ACCOMODATE NUMBER REQUESTS.

 Scholarships: A limited number of full or partial scholarships for the MLAX registration fee are available for players who would not otherwise be able to participate because of economic hardship.The Scholarship Application can be found HERE.

Refunds: Should your player not be placed on a team, the MLAX registration fees will be refunded prior to the first regular season game. Registration cancelations must be made and received in writing (email) prior to March 1st. All requests made prior to the March 1st deadline will be refunded less a $30 admin fee. No refunds of registration will be awarded after March 1st.   

2026 Girls Spring Lacrosse for K-1st Grade

Mountain Lacrosse girls' kindergarten and 1st grade teams will play in the Arapahoe Youth League for the 2025 Spring Season. Teams at this age level will play 4v4 format against other AYL K-1 girls' teams during a shortened spring game season. Teams will travel for some games against other AYL teams. All home games and practices are held at Stagecoach, Marshdale, and EMS fields. Practices will begin in March, weather permitting. Games will likely start in early April, based on AYL schedule and weather permitting. Games will be played on Saturdays or Sundays. There will likely be no playoffs or championship at this age level. The season will end by mid-May. Girls on the K-1 teams will wear a reversible MLAX pinnie as their uniform. This is the same pinnie that girls received during the MLAX 2025 programs. You will have the opportunity to order one for $10 during the registration process if needed.

2026 Girls Spring Lacrosse Mountain Minis - Preschool-1st Grade

Join us for a spring program designed to introduce young girls to lacrosse. 

Mountain Minis is a great way for ALL young girls to experience the fun of playing a team sport! 

This 4-week program will allow girls to learn, play, and make new friends from all over our mountain community. Mountain Lacrosse promotes good sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork, while having lots of fun! This program is aimed at preschoolers, but any girls 6 and under are welcome to join. 

April 12th, 19th, 26th & May 3th (Sundays) 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm at Stagecoach Field 3342 Evergreen Pkwy, Evergreen, CO 

COST: $40 Registration plus $35 USA Lacrosse Annual Membership 

Cost includes all 4 days of making friends, working together, and having fun! No equipment needed.

ADDITIONAL NOTES: A parent or other adult must stay on the sidelines during all Mountain Minis sessions. This is not a drop-off program. Adults can just enjoy watching and socializing, or are welcome to lend the coaches a helping hand! 

Lacrosse sticks are available for Mountain Minis players to borrow. 

We will only be using soft/practice balls, therefore mouth guards and goggles are optional.
